Code of Ethics

In addition to the Dating Approach to Investing guidelines, we adhere to a code of ethics shaping our decision-making. Aligned with the Mensarius Oath covenants, we deeply honor these values:

  1. Create positive outcomes financially and otherwise for all of those involved, including the conscious avoidance of harm to any parties
  2. Help others to achieve the highest standards set
  3. Work against any abuse of power
  4. Treat all those who approach us with fairness, equality, and the attention that each opportunity deserves
  5. Remain open and honest in all dealings with those that we serve, including Investors and Founders
  6. Keep all matters that are understood to be private with all available protections safe from public or other unwanted disclosure

Oath to Ethical Development

We ensure, to the best of our ability, to follow the ethics that allow for responsible and sustainable development, and encourage all stakeholders to follow these guidelines.

  1. A product must not harm humanity or, by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm
  2. Priority must be given to the well-being and safety of humans above all else in the design, development, and deployment of all systems
  3. Respect for human rights must be maintained, ensuring technologies do not cause harm, discriminate, or infringe upon individual freedoms
  4. Clear and accessible information about the capabilities and limitations of solutions must be provided. Intentions, progress, and results will be actively communicated to promote transparency and trust
  5. Any potential biases inherent or acquired within the products must be disclosed and steps taken to mitigate them to ensure the treatment of all individuals fairly, regardless of race, gender, age, or other characteristics
  6. Proper responsibility must be taken for the failures of the products
  7. Mechanisms for addressing complaints, errors, and unintended consequences must be established while striving for continuous improvement
  8. User privacy and data security must be respected, ensuring its collection and use for legitimate and agreed-upon purposes
  9. Robust security measures must be taken to protect data from unauthorized access and breaches
  10. Collaboration with regulatory authorities, industry peers, and other stakeholders to establish best practices and industry standards must be anticipated and ensured while adhering to ethical guidelines for the responsible use of technologies in both the short and long term and its societal, ethical, and environmental implications
